Xmarks bookmark syncing service will close its doors January 10 2011. They have been unable to find a business model to support them.
Shame really as Xmarks is a very useful service. Article on Lifehacker

Such a shame, was a brilliant service.

When I installed the firefox 4 beta I ignored the bookmark sync, but come to think of it, i have just been syncing bookmarks between firefox on 3 different PCs all along...

Such a great service.

I'll just have to go back to doing it myself... which is a hassle and isn't cross browser supported.

Audiophiles are such twits! They buy such pointless stuff: Gold plated cables, $2000 power cords. Idiots.

What else is there that does it? Im ok with needing to put stuff on a server for it to sync with.

Why don't you use the "Xmarks BYOS" add-on to Firefox? This way, you would keep your bookmarks and more sensitive information private. Sure, you need a server to host the files on, but that's not too hard to arrange nowadays.
