Bought a new samsung 24" led screen today.
The bottom right 3rd of the screen is dark...if i turn the screen on then off- it sometimes goes to a full bright
screen for a little while then the bottom right 3rd of the screen goes dark again....(can still see the things on the right side of the screen but its far darker compared to the rest of the screen).
Like some of the backlights or whatever they are broken/faulty...
Anyone ever seen anything similar?
I plan to take the screen back to the shop tomorrow..

Any good retailer would do that, even the online ones, as what else are they going to do. As it is new, they are hardly going to send it off to be repaired, as it was DOA, which means a straight swap.

You would hope so, iv just read many horror storys of people having problems with returns to online stores. Emails not getting answerd, not answering phone calls etc. Also the fact that many online retailers dont even hold physical stock which further complicates issues with resupply/replacement.
You only need to look at the feedback left on pricespy etc to see what im talking about Smile
