Looking for a cheap but good...lol, Bluray burner (internal SATA).
Have heard the LG BH10LS30 is good.

Cant seem to find too many places selling these burners for PCs.
Dick smiths have no Bluray burners listed on their website.

Paradigm PCs $326

Ascent  $432.61 !!!

With Ascent you are paying for better service and support, it's worth it to some people and on some purchases imo.

Paradigm's actual price is $356.38 (confirmed when I tried to checkout), a price difference of around 18% when compared against Ascent - hardly a ripoff.

I would take a rip off as being 75% or more difference.  Since Paradigm have it cheaper, and cost is a big factor for you, just buy it off them?

I tend to stick with Ascent because I have ALWAYS had extremely friendly and efficient service from them.
Their prices do tend to be a bit more expensive with some things, but with quite a few things they have been a lot cheaper too.

It's definitely worth it if you value after sales service.

When buying retail, I stick with Ascent, as the after sale Support is EXCELLENT.

With other shops (Never tried with Paradigm) I have had bad experiences. a 11month old Hard drive failed Pc online shop refuses to even email me back about it now.

IMO the Extra $$$ is worth it. But if cost is the big issue for you, go with Paradigm

I got to where I am by not wasting money where its not necessary ;-)

I miss not having access to Scan.co.uk and eBuyer for buying PC components!
