Hi guys i need to find a WD4000YR hard drive im not sure why it has to be that one the person cnt even tell me but i cant find one in NZ anyone have any ideas where i could get one, well i need 3 actually

Or if anyone knows why it would have to be that and if there is an equivalent

Why would anyone want that drive or am I missing something here?

Maybe they want to use it to retrieve data off an old HDD with a stuffed controller board? I'd press the issue with them. Maybe they only think they need this particular model and actually there is no reason for it.
