One of the lugs that the heatsink clips onto has snapped off on an M2NPV-VM motherboard. Anywhere in NZ you can easily pick up replacement retention brackets?

Sadly looking like a full board swap out.

Yea, unfortunately probably looking at a new board. If your heatsink supports it, you could possibly look at removing the retention bracket and screwing the heatsink directly into the plate that sits behind the motherboard in the chassis.

Try calling in to your local PC stores. They may have old motherboards/parts floating around. You could strike lucky.

Other than that, you can probably get aftermarket heatsink/fan combo's that include a retention bracket.

EDIT: A bracket from a socket 939 motherboard should also work just fine.
