I just received a call from a "support rep" who had kindly rung up to help us stop our Windows computer from sending out numerous files. She hung up before I could determine whether the iMac or Macbook Pro was at fault here :-)

No bootcamp or parallels then? :D

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

CYaBro: No bootcamp or parallels then? :D

Actually I have Fusion and Parallels (which runs in Coherence mode constantly on the Macbook Pro, as I'm a Windows developer by day), but I smelt this scam from a mile away. And in the interest of full disclosure, my daughter also has a Win7 based netbook, but that didn't stop me from testing the scammers reaction by failing to mention this. :-)
