Hi There!

I was wondering how I might go about trying MAC OS for a few months without shelling for a MAC? I have plenty of hardware available, but I wanted to try the latest for the lowest price reasonable? I have heard about hackinstosh but I was wondering if it works with all recent hardware (HP Small form factor business PC's)?

Hmm im not sure if we are able to talk about this.
So I dont want to get banned for it.
But I will tell you only specific hardware works.
And note to mods: if we are not allowed to talk about this please delete my post.

I wouldn't recomend talking about this as well in these forums. But I heard it works the easiest with running in a virtual Machine with a Intel Cpu with Virtualization Technology. But you don't really want a hackintosh because it ruins "It just works" slogan what apple is known for. But you can get apple computer at duty Free now where you don't have to pay gst. Don't forget there is also the Education discount if you meet the requirements.

You could try the opposite approach: buy a Mac with the intention of upgrading some of your existing hardware, and with the other intention of running Windows on the Mac. You can then try out Mac OS, and if you don't like it, you still have a great Windows machine (if you buy a copy of Windows and install it on the Mac).

Otherwise, see if a public library have Macs installed. Not likely though.

David.
