Microsoft has released a new version of Security Essentials. This includes new features (but the next version will be even better).

It should auto update, but you can just visit www.microsoft.com/security and download it - it will update your current install.

I use MSE for all my pcs except Linux pcs (I wonder why? lol) its quick and easy to use but i hate how it limits the cpu usage to only 50% but you can change that if need to be. But i find it runs great same with Avast and Avira Antivirus except the popup window lol

I use this as well but didnt know anything about CPU limiting?

Is this real or another internet myth?

If its real... please explain

People complained Microsoft Security Essentials used up too much CPU during a full scan. Microsoft introduced a feature to allow user to limit how much CPU Microsoft Security Essentials use during a scan, and users complain about it.
