So, I've decided to build another computer and i came across this mobo Asus P8H67-M PRO it supports the latest cpus and also has true usb 3.0 AND sata III integrated graphics so unless i'm going to play halo or starcraft 2 on this i won't be needing a graphics card. Problem is, can it get any better? List the possibilities down below please!! Cool

You really should state price range and your requirements since that mobo doesn't support the top end i7 chips and triple channel memory

Thats the old top end i7's. ;)
The new Sandy bridge CPUs are just as fast/faster than the old top end i7s, with the exception of the hex-acore CPUs, assuming  you're doing threaded work that will use all 6 cores.

Heck, with the Intel HD 3000 GPU, you can play Halo and SC2 with the graphics turned down a bit. See http://www.anandtech.com/show/4083/the-sandy-bridge-review-intel-core-i7-2600k-i5-2500k-core-i3-2100-tested/11

With the H series chipset, you can't overclock the CPU, were you planning on doing that?

Well H67 has onboard gpu and no overclocking. p67 is overclocking with the gpu disabled.

Really depends on usage

Budget is whatever, cause i reckon if you're going to get a proper desktop might as well buy something decent to your liking, so that is that.

My requirements aren't that much since i will only use the desktop for photo editing, office, movies and some documentations. Not much gaming on this though :/

Well since i'm not going to do anything extreme, i guess i don't need to overclock.

Would you guys say that this mobo is fit for my needs?

Yep, it should be fine! And of course you can stick a discrete card in it later on if you want to. (But then you'll potentially lose the ability to use the ondie GPU)

haha actually i am selling it, though i can't advertise here, if it doesn't sell by the time i earn enough to build this computer i'll use it as a primary boot drive.
