Anyone experiencing random clicks with Logitech Performance Mouse MX?
Sometimes it also lose the drag-and-drop half way and scroll randomly...

I'm using:
- Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit with SP1
- SetPoint (Control Center Version 6.20.50, Driver Version 5.20.51)

I've tried:
- Updating drivers
- Restarting computer
- Change USB ports
- Connect to the wire (rather than running it wireless)

Appreciate any suggestion :)

Only when the button in a mouse is at end of life. They get a lot of use so a million clicks happens pretty quickly if you use it a lot.

My current microsoft one has a dickky left button and has almost lost the detents in the scroll wheel. If it was a ball mouse that would have given out by now so you would just biff it and replace, but as the optical lasts fine, its the other mechanical bits that fail first.

I have been using a Logitech Performance MX mouse for months now... No problem here. Do you have some other wireless device that could be causing some interference? Even WiFi?

Tried pairing the mouse with the Unifying adapter again?

richms: Thanks, I was feeling slightly surprised (disappointed) that the fancy Performance MX didn't last long when my old Dell USB mouse lasted for 8 years, not to mention all the abuses too!

freitasm: I have a wireless phone base station and a wireless router active nearby all the time, and sometimes a WP7 handset and a MS wireless keyboard & mouse as well. The position of the little adapter is probably not ideal (the USB ports on the back of the monitor). By the way, how to I re-pair the mouse and adapter?
