hey guys, my friend is after a good printer under $250 that he can use for architecture and design at university

i have found this one (slightly over budget) but with a good resolution.

would Epson be better for cheaper cartridges?

so yea, please post your recommendations for a suitable printer <$250 :)
thanks

Which one? no link there.

Anyway, photos as in what size? Photo paper or plain? Pigment or dye?

Forget any affixed scanners to cheap printers, they just break and cant tell the difference between blues and greens properly when scanning.

If you get the 8 colour ones, they do a much nicer job of earthy tones with the red and blue carts.
