I'm guestimating that since upgrading to Firefox 5 I can no longer log onto the IRD web site.  Using IE works.  Is it only my PC, or is it wide spread?  Thanks.

I've found the IRD website to be unstable at times.

Half the time , it is OK (via chrome).

The other half, I get time-outs, or it might take 5 minutes to log on.

I personally prefer Chrome to firefox, Chrome is so fast...although, I intend to give the latest version of firefox a spin.

I had the same problem. In the meantime I uninstalled Firefox 5 (without deleting personal data) and went back to 4.01 and it worked fine.  Firefox 6 is now available which also works fine with IRD.

In a couple of conversations with the online help people, they are ¨working on it¨ but didn¨t give any kind of time frame to fix it. Not impressed that being the way the IRD encourage people to use to interact with them does not work with a heavily used browser. At least now they have warnings around the log on section to give you a heads up.

I wish, most of my Tax goes directly to them so no chance of that one.

Sadly I chase them to do stuff, it would be nice if they kept to their own deadlines (but thats going OT)
