I’ve got fat fingers and like to hear a beep if I inadvertently hit the Caps Lock key.

Unfortunately the machines here at work are locked down in a half-*rsed sort of way and they have removed Accessibility Options from Control Panel so I can’t use Toggle-Keys to switch this on (access.cpl is not present anywhere on the system drive).

Is there any other way to turn this on – a registry setting perhaps.  Would it work if I copy access.cpl from another source and simpy run “control access.cpl” Would I need to register it first, like a DLL?

Solved

Some further googling and I discovered that holding the Num-Lock key for 5 seconds brings up the ToggleKeys on/off option.
