I'm replacing my PC, so i'm going to sell my old PC. Specs are:
 - Asus motherboard
 - Q6600 CPU
 - 4GB RAM
 - nVida 6800GT video card
 - I'll probably put a 200GB or so disk in it, i'll see what I have lying around.

No keyboard, no monitor, no mouse.

A friend's interesting in buying it, but what's it worth? I've been using it as a photo processing workstation, together with a couple of SSDs and three spinning disks i'll move to the new PC, so it's still easily fast enough for most peoples day to day use.

It has a case, and it has a PSU. The case stops everything falling out, and the PS makes enough power to run everything.

I'm not selling it for the components, so they're not really that important IMHO, but from memory it's an Antec Sonta 1 case with whatever PSU it came with.

Thanks Gavin, you're probably in the right ballpark. It's worth what someone will pay for it I guess. Other opinions welcome :)

Between 300 and 400 dollars.

I sold an old P4 3.0GHz with 2GB of RAM, 2X 80GB hard drives, 300WATT PSU and a low profile ATI 256MB card for $320 about 4 months ago.

Yeah <$500 for sure which is about 66% of the price of building a new mid range spec pc.

Good to know, I've got a system of not entirely dissimilar spec that I'm wanting to offload (although it's a Q9500 with 8GB RAM & a 1TB HDD) so that gives me an idea of what to ask for it.
