Trying to find a semi-decent newb friendly video editor, WMM lags to hell and back and last time i tried vegas it was much too confusing, so whats a decent, reliable but also has a quick learning curve?

Why not try Adobe Premiere Element?

It certainly has a ton of features which can be confusing but I remember picking it up quite quickly and being able to do basic editing in no time.

Also there would be plenty of tutorials that can help you get started.

www.trakax.com - Ive just started using it and finding it straight forward :)
And its cheap too if you want to upgrade to the professional version.
