at least for the development community at this stage. Wonder when consumer products/packages will hit the streets.

I really like this idea though, not just for gaming either, the possibilities fro integration with all sorts of other software are endless. Probably won' t support XP so this might just be the trigger for me to (finally)upgrade to Windows 7.




Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

Cool! I think I'll hold off on buying a new webcam til this comes out.

So if I read that right you will need to have a Kinect for Windows rather than being able to use the original Kinect for Xbox 360?

That's how I read it too, there are a few reference to the "Kinect for Windows hardware"

I think it would need to be anyway, as it would require a camera system that allowed you to be closer to the screen. It is good technology, but still has a long way to go.
