When I try and connect my Palm Tungsten T3 to my Toshiba Tecra Celeron M 1.5ghz I receive the following message when I press the 'sync' button. "USB Device not recognized. One of the usb devices has malfunctioned" I also receive an error message on the T3 "The connection between your handheld and the desktop could not be established. Please check your setup and try again".

Thanks
Terry Savage

Have you installed the Palm Desktop software before connecting the cradle? If so, have you rebooted since then?

Perhaps try reinstalling the Palm Desktop software again. Also check that it is not connected to a USB HUB, but directly to your computer.

Could it be a defective cradle? You should try with another computer to see if it works.
