Hi
I'm going to Japan later on in the year and have searching for a map of Tokyo  to use with my N95 (mgmaps)while there.
Does anyone know where to get a Tokyo map pack and if possible in English?
thanks

The method I explained earlier can be used to make a map for MGMaps of any part of the world with a zoom level of choice.

digitaldream: Go to the Map Creation Tool for MGMaps

Select an area by clicking around it in sequence.
More detailed instructions are on the page itself.

Press "Generate"
Within a few moments you will be prompted to download a ".map" file
Remember its location.

Now download this tool.

Once you have the main window open, under "operating mode" select "MGMaps mode, use a .maps file".
Note the "cache folder" at the top, this is where the tiles will be saved.

Press "Go"
Select the ".map" file you downloaded earlier and click ok.

It will take a while, depending on the area and the zoom levels you selected.

Once the download is done, drop them onto your flash drive. Since there is so many tiles you might want to transfer to the sd card directly, through the phone will take a lot longer.

All information you require is already in this thread.
