... Do you know where else to look in order to uninstall ovi off my phone?

What kind of message do you get when trying to Uninstall it?
nikrolls: If you have definitely followed this step (and if following it again doesn't help) then there may be an issue that the Nokia Careline should be able to assist you with (0800 NOKIA1).
nikrolls: With regards to the Web TV: as this is a localised service channels will flow through when they are available and approved in align with copyright and regional availability. The best way to get these is to check if there are any updates, either by entering *#0000# on your phone and pressing Options -> Check for Updates, or updating via PC Suite if you don't have WiFi/don't want to use 3G.

It's still there, you have to be signed in to download though.
lyonrouge: Things I would like to see "fixed" in January:
1. Virtual Keyboard with word completion (like WM7)
2. Widget for SMS (only email at the moment)
3. "to" field to lookup names the same as a phone call (the magic appearing/disappearing letters is particularly insconsistent)
4. SMS "to" to use the Mobile number by default (why on earth would I attempt to send an SMS to an email address?)
Note: MANDATORY fix is calendar item create with invites and the ability to Accept/Decline/Tentative respond to invites.

I may be able to help with most of those.
1. When using the QWERTY keyboard, press the options button (three horizontal lines), press 'Input Options', then 'Activate Prediction'. Then press the options button again, press Input Options, and then Settings. In there turn 'Text correction mode' to 'Show suggestion'. This provides a very familiar auto-correction method which speeds up my typing immensely. Also, try the difference between 'Word auto-completion' on or off ... having it on will show a ghost of the suggested word and you can press the 'right' button to insert it.
2. Have you tried the Notifications widget? It collects missed calls and new messages together in a very efficient fashion.
3. The To box is actually quite smart. For SMS you can just type someone's name and it will search the contacts when you press Send. If there is only one match it will send it to them automatically. For the email box you can type someone's name and then press the 'tick' on the keyboard. You will then see that there is a drop-down suggestions list based on your contacts and your previous email history.
4. I don't have a blanket solution for this one, however you can set Default numbers for each of your contacts. Go into the contact, press 'Options', then 'Defaults'. Here you can set a default number for SMS messages, and it will then never ask you for the number for that contact when messaging them.
Hope those help in some way.
The calendar item fix is definitely coming. Until then you can send a calendar appointment to someone by creating the appointment and then sending it via email. It's not the same as inviting someone but it is a way of getting it to the right people. If they do the same back, you'll be able to save it in your calendar.
