The only menu item for Direct Push is the Schedule in ActiveSync. If it's set to "As items arrive" it means Direct Push is active - providing it's enabled on your Exchange Server.

As for the Send/Receive, do you have other mailboxes defined on Messaging? If you tap the folder name, it will list all folders and other mailboxes. Are you using the only one, or the one associated with the Exchange?

I set up my xtra account last night on the PDA so its exchange plus the xtra account. When I switch to the xtra account the send/receive is not greyed out. Thanks for the push direct note. I noticed it on my schedule.

I usually connect via Bluetooth as I get into the office. This morning activesynch opens and just says connecting which usually takes only a few seconds.
