I import and sell mobiles on trademe

Nokia E90 hasnt been release in the market yet.I don't think you will see it for quite sometime .It hasnt been announced by nokia hk on the date of the release.

But alot of parallel e90 are already appearing in hk.I don't recommend the ones on trademe and ebay where sellers offering 7 days or 3 months warranty especially ones without warranty. It's pretty rubbish really as E90 is extremely new parts are hard to come by when there are problems and the supplier will probably will take 1.5 months to repair the mobile with some random parts. So do beware and think twice before buying ones without the 1 year warranty.

Anyway As Nokia 7500 prism just been release in hk it will be a little while yet before nokia releases E90

Can you please provide your TradeMe username?

The E90 has been released in a lot of countries including the UK and is available from many people on TradeMe, Zillion, Ebay (Australia and America), just to name a few. Most of these auctions claim it will ship from HK. If it hasn't been released in HK where are all these phones actually coming from?

It is also available (although just run out of stock) from Parallel Imported here in NZ.

Is your supplier(s) able to tell you when the E90 will be available to you?

It is released in Hong kong but not by the genuine way

What this means is that Nokia Hk have not release this model. It is being imported elsewhere and are sold in Hong kong

Although there are some people who like to purchase parallel handset from Hk there is a risk.

By not purchasing thru the right source nokia ... here are the reasons why

All nokia mobiles in hk that are not distributed from Nokia Hk

1. Nokia hk may refuse to repair the mobile or charge $70 an inspection fee.

2.Members who are selling this model and later sellers having problems with this model. The buyer may ignore you. This is becase the mobile is so new there are no parts for it

3.The supplier or the company that are distributing to the seller for this model may drag the repair for about 2 months.

4.Repairs are not made by Nokia technicians. This means you may end up with 2nd hand parts or random parts

To identify the nokia Hk mobiles there will be a Warranty label stating the expiry date. The warranty label is located on the mobile, charger and battery so everything is new.

Without this label you have no way of proving what your getting is a new e90 even if it is wrapped perfectly. You might get one where someone used it for a day and resell the e90.This means all imported handsets in hk do not have the label

I do recommend at least 1 Year warranty .a Seller is selling it for $1000 with 7 days warranty.Ebay sellers are selling $1k for 14 days warranty. You really want to risk your money?

Please think twice:)

From Nokia Oz:

Thank you for emailing Nokia Careline.
In response to your enquiry, please be advised that Nokia E90 will be available soon in Australia. However, we are unable to confirm the exact date the Nokia E90 will be released in Australia.
As for the availability of Nokia E90 in New Zealand, there is no indication yet on whether this model will be made available for New Zealand market.
I would suggest that you refer to Nokia website for further updates. We regret any inconveniences caused.

Harvey Norman Oz hopefully. Got a mate from here who works in DSE in Melbourne and he has mates who work at Harvey Norman in Melbourne. My better half's parents are in Melbourne for the week so if all goes to plan they can get one from my mates mates for cheap then get the GST back on the way out of Oz. This will result in a phone way cheaper than Parallel Importers from a legit Nokia dealer which will have a legit Nokia warranty a short plane ride away.
