Hi,

I currently use a BlackBerry Z10 and I too am hoping Spark plan to retail the BlackBerry Passport.

I think it looks awesome!!

While I can't give specific detail, that is essentially what happens - just not at the consumer level. :)

Suffice to say there is not a lot of interest in this device in NZ beyond the enthusiast crowd. Unfortunate, as I personally liked it a lot.

Well, shopbb had a code yesterday, and I ended up paying US$477.33 for the device to be dropped off to my colleague in Chicago. From there, he'll be sending FedEx on a 3 day shipment, that's US$125, customs would want NZ$155 off me, so far, I can see that it's the cheapest way of getting it in.

Well, I am running my BlackBerry as my primary device. The only thing I use my android for is google hangouts.

Oh yeah plus connected devices that BlackBerry hasn't opened up the api for.

There is just something about it that makes me want it. I get sick of carrying around a "generic" device that just isn't cool and interesting as the passport.

As per my original post, I bought it on shopbb.com and did a coupon redemption that wasn't meant to happen, but it did. So the device cost me 477.33 USD. That took a week from Indianapolis warehouse to a fellow moderator friend in Chicago. Then he had to send it down to me.

That's US $125.00

GST was NZ $163 something.

So yes, a 2 week wait, almost. I bought it online Saturday 4 October lunch time lol.

This is getting charged, then off to Vodafone for a nano sim.
