Son has the 520, one of the volume buttons did go but was replaced under warranty. Apart from that its a fantastic phone for next to no $ (beats the hell out of the cheap androids I've used).

My brother In Law has a 520 and he swears by it...often by text.

I had a 925, I gave it to my son and purchased a Galaxy S5, I really regret buying the S5 and would gladly swap it for a Nokia.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

kawaii: Just having a look at a Lumia 830 so I went into Spark and I was informed that they've had a lot of returns for Nokia Lumia phones - how true is that claim? All the reviews online seem to say it is a pretty good middle of the road device but I'm wondering what others here think.

Hi Kawaii,

Unfortunately this isn't correct - the Nokia 830 actually has a lower than average return rate at that price point.

If you're able to pop us a PM with the store where this information came from, we'd appreciate being able to follow up.

FWIW it's a really nice phone, certainly my favourite Nokia for a while! :)

Cheers! ^Sam

Bought the Lumia 830 on the 24 months interest free but they balls up the transaction at head office and put the whole sale on my bill all at once (the receipt I had received at the store had 24 months interest free but something went wrong with the billing). The phone is awesome, definitely feels premium at an accessible price point - strong signal, great battery life, very fast and fluid.
