Yes, I agree it's a poor effort, but they did put the truck out.

From what I've heard there's a good story for not having devices in all stores at launch...

$899 is not a bad price for an introductory phone to a new platform.

ruderger: "Buy it online from 12.01am (midnight) 21st October at www.vodafone.co.nz/windowsphone (phone will be couriered) "
I'm not seeing any where on that site to buy the phone or how much it costs. Nice

*sigh*

Use that thing called "mouse", on the left side click "HTC" and then find "New Releases"... The phone is there...

I hope you are sighing at Vodafone/Microsoft, should be easy for Vodafone to update their page, that's the page Microsoft link to, and you can not buy it from that page.

It looks like a pie cart from those pictures.

Perhaps it's their new launch strategy, the same one they used for the iPhone 4 Tongue out

Just finished setting up my new trophy. Yeah the aotea square set up was really depressing to say the least, the rain didn't help either. Very small crowds for a world wide launch, not enough geeks in nz to care.
On the other hand great device, really giving the other platforms a run for their money and for $899, its well worth it.

Doesn't look too exciting from the video I saw on Vodafone's site. How to "pin" things and change the colours. Not going to make me rush out and buy one.

I just played with one at a vodafone store in Wellington, was nice, really snappy, nice transitions, will definitley look harder at one when I'm going to buy a new phone, there's really cheap Andriods out there not too, hmmm.
Bing has never worked well for me though, Google always finds/knows what I want, Bing is a struggle.

Can't wait to play with a Windows Phone 7, although I'm not particularly interested in the HTC Trophy hardware. Very keen to check out an HD7 though, cool that it's coming to XT. I think that non geeks are really going to buy Windows Phone 7 series over Android, it's missing some of the features, but they will come and the OS is looking super polished. Anyway, great job Microsoft and good job Vodafone for kicking things off...
