Yeah I have that link, but all those are ones that only work on vodafone, thats why I was asking for that specific model number because they work on XT.

There are plenty on eBay Australia. I've managed to buy several new T8697 Mozart's there. Check with the seller to see if they will ship to NZ (some will), else if you know someone in OZ who can on-ship to you. My target price is AU$250.

Someone is selling uses Samsung focus's on trademe for $400 odd mark. Condition looks good. Personally have the same model running on XT and it's one of the best generation 1 Windows Phone out there.

Do whatever you want to do man.

Since the Mango update, it could be that demand has picked up. I had no problem getting several at or near AU$250 (I actively bidded for them rather than 'Buy Now').

As far as I know, none of the Telstra Mozarts were 'locked' to their network. All the ones I purchased worked fine out of the box (including one still sealed).

Another phone worth looking out for is the HTC HD7 S model (as distinct from the original HD7 model)- It's has quad band UMTS (i.e. will work on Telecom or Vodafone), and the LCD screen is similar in quality to that in the Mozart, only bigger at 4.3", plus it comes fitted with 16GB and fairly straight forward to upgrade to 32GB (much easier to upgrade than the Mozart). Prices on eBay USA tend be start at US$300 new. There are a couple of second-hand ones on eBay OZ atm.

Correction - It's come to my attention that the HTC HD7S is is not a quad band UMTS phone, This model was apparently made for AT&T's network in the US which uses 850Mhz/1900Mhz bands. It will therefore only work here in NZ on Telecom's 850Mhz band (and not on Telecom's 2100Mhz towers in some main centres).

I've located a quantity of brand-new HTC T8697 Mozart's from a dealer in Los Angeles, and am able to negotiate a good price based on quantity. They are unlocked and branded for Australian carrier Telstra (therefore suitable for Telecom XT).

I might be prepared to import some for others, and upgrade them to 16 or 32GB if required.

Let me know asap if interested.

Yes it does, but only specefic branded and class micro-sd cards work.
