I have been advised by Samsung that it was held up and is due in January. I think they have the same issue in Australia as I've heard people over there are frustrated with the wait too.

Just came out of a Vodafone store and this particular store in Auckland has recieved the dummy display unit. Feels very good in the hand. He also mentioned late January launch and checked the internal Vodafone website which stated the price at $799.

$799 is a bit rich when expansys and the like have it for $700.

I imagine that's list and you can flutter your eyebrows if you're on a contract.

Nice, phone - and I think a fair price. It's coming in at $100 less than HTC Trophy was launched at and it's a well spec'd phone with a really nice Super AMOLED display.

That you can parallel import for NZ$580, making Voda's premium a cool $120.
