I think we have a Tui moment.
Just upgraded an 800 on telecom 7.10.8773.98 and can't see any such setting, and i do have my glasses on :)
so is telecom blocking the feature? or are these just pre update updates..... as the firmware is supposd to end in 122xx , currently ends in 12070

your 2deg/optus image will be slightly different to the telecom one me thinks (probably the plain vanilla image or the optus one). what does your firmware version end in? 12220?

freitasm: No drawback. The "yank the cable" is basically turning off mobile data on your device, checking for updates on Zune and after a few seconds disconnect the Internet on your PC. This will force the device to see the updates.

freitasm: If Mobile Data is ON in the settings you should turn it off anyway.
