freitasm: I did reset the phone, and the sharing feature wasn't showing. Just did a reset again and nothing.
I guess a factory reset is in order. Will do tomorrow.

nedkelly: Installing now, stupid question, how do you factory reset?
vaiohk:nedkelly: Installing now, stupid question, how do you factory reset?

Yes, log back in with the same Microsoft Account and the apps, SMS texts, etc come back over the air

grant_k: After reading this thread, and wading through all 56 pages of the Lumia 920 thread, I have a question for those of you who have owned/tried the 920, and also the Ascend W1:
- To be honest, I am more than a little put off by all the problems people have had with the 920
- It doesn't sound reliable enough to fit my requirements of a phone, which at a basic level, needs to make voice calls and send text messages without needing to be reset/rebooted/reflashed etc, etc.
- My current phone is an old Motorola KRZR with bluetooth, camera and media player but precious little else
- I am seriously looking at buying my first smartphone as I could benefit from a Navigation device and it seems stupid to buy a TomTom or Navman, when a smartphone will do all that and so much more
So, here is my question: Which is the best device for making voice calls -- the Lumia 920 or the Ascend W1?
In the event that most of you say the 920, being my first smartphone, I am probably not looking to spend that much, so would opt for it's soon-to-be-released little brother, the Lumia 720. I have compiled a table of the differences that are apparent between the Lumia 720 and the Ascend W1:
Nokia Lumia 720
===============
USD 370 / EUR 249 / NZD 450???
4.3" Screen with Gorilla Glass, ClearBlack
Int. storage 8GB, up to 64GB memory card
Bluetooth V3.0 (24Mbps)
NFC
Wireless Charging option
6.1Mpix main camera with F1.9 lens
1.3Mpix secondary camera
1GHz CPU
Compass
No Radio
Standby (3G) 520hrs
Talk time (3G) 13.3hrs
Polycarbonate body
Huawei Ascend W1
================
USD 245 / EUR 200 / NZD 299
4.0" Screen
Int. storage 4GB, up to 32GB memory card
Bluetooth V2.1 EDR (3Mbps)
No NFC in NZ
Wired Charging
5Mpix main camera
VGA secondary camera
1.2GHz CPU
No Compass
FM Radio
Standby (3G) 470hrs
Talk time (3G) 10.5hrs
Plastic body
Any comments you may have on the significance of these differences would be much appreciated.
For example:
===========
- 32GB of storage vs. 64GB of storage probably won't matter to me, but would the 4GB vs. 8GB of internal storage make any difference to performance?
- Likewise a 1GHz CPU vs. 1.2GHz?
- How many peripheral devices can actually benefit from Bluetooth 3.0 at this point?
- The differences in build quality, clarity of screen display and scratch resistance are also important to me.
vaiohk: If you like to install app for your phone, I suggest the Nokia as it has the bigger storage, currently you can install the app in the phone storage only unlike Android.
The 720 also got a Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic which have a better voice quality
Also you better have a look the battery size as well as the 720 got a non-removable 2000mAh and the W1 got a removable 1950mAh battery.
