I asked for an ETA too - it seems nobody knows for sure. Gave up and changed product codes for our phones!

Are you running 200 fw or the latest one? What product code did you use?

I needed something to do today so I have upgraded to 210.21.006.

If anyone else wants to follow suit, it is very easy.

1) Use this to change your product code to 0567045 or any other code you want listed here. You can use this page to see which firmware version each product code has enabled.
2) Run the Nokia Software Updater
3) You can change the product code back to the NZ or whichever one you want afterwards if you want using the same app as in step 1). There is no real need to do this though I understand features like the download menu and some free programs are product code specific.

And was it worth going to the trouble? Seems to be a looong wait for the apparently already approved update to be released.

@JohnR: Any idea what the holdup is? Does it normally take this long from the time of approval to the time of release?

I'm still re-setting up :-) The only mention I have seen on the 'net is camera purpleness fix, but I haven't really looked.

I'm not too worried, I like to always have the latest firmware, you never know which little bugs have been fixed and improvements made.

It has nothing to do with VF.

i would love ot have a snappier camera and remove that purple tinge, it makes the camera useless.

I'll give it to the end of the week before I change product codes and flash it. I've got like 30 apps I need to d/l let alone all the little tweaks
