One of my friend's X610 touch screen died within a couple of weeks of getting it. Replaced under warranty (1 year replacement warranty, not repair warranty, so brand new replacement). I've heard of a few touch screen issues on this phone. That said, it is still a good buy.

I did a hard reset and attempted to reconfigure, when I get to the screen alignment page, the input provided by tapping the screen with the stylus are not accepted and couldn't go to the next screen.

If anybody is wanting to get the latest firmware, you can grab it off the Glofiish support site
http://www.glofiish.com/download.asp?lang=3

You will need to register to download it, but that doesn't take very long.

When I got the new firmware for my X610 I was unable to click the download link because the file name was too long to display properly. Also the site supported only IE, not Fx. But then I viewed the page source and that way found the download URL.
