Don't be an idiot. It is an obvious mistake, and it is their right to correct obvious mistakes. They have no obligation to complete your order.
confirmed that was a big mistake when they were adjusting price for Hp touchpad. They said none of the $1 orders will be going through. They also said there are 10 Hp coming to their way with 60 ppl waiting for it..
Ordered one from ITD this morning around 8.20, stock levels must have been around 180 for 16GB model. Anyone else in same boat? A friend who tried around 9.30 said it wasnt on the site anymore.
I ordered one through PP early this morning and everything went through fine. Have not had a refund or email saying not in stock. Did get an email saying this will be shipped direct from supplier, not holding my breathe. They may have problems with the commerce commission if they can not fill orders and have taken payment, as they did not have on the site that numbers were limited or anything like that.
Rang a friend who owns a Harveys store on Monday and he had been told not to sell any(not even to staff), even though they had them in store, and all were to be returned to HP. This was due to Harvey Normans not being able to honor the 1 year warranty.
