Pity the touchpad not 3G. Would be keen on one if it was.

freitasm: Apparently local retailers are sending the stock back to HP, instead of selling off.

Initially I think Harvey Norman Australia were going to do the same, but now they're selling the remaining units for AUD $98

Either use the name of the retailer or don't bother posting. See FUG for more information.

EDIT: Sorry I if sounded harsh. My point is that there were more than a few retailers mentioned here. Speculative posts like the one above cause confusion.

I thought it would help to let people know that HP are offering price protection to retailers in New Zealand for them to sell them at this price. I'm sure tomorrow they'll be available at this price from anywhere that sells them.

I wonder if HN NZ will be doing the same.  I'm getting a bit paranoid as I haven't received any shipping confirmation from Best buy yet.  I'll wait tomorrow, hopefully I can get someone over at Oz to buy this for me just as a cover.

So who will be selling them cheaply from tommorow? Acquire?

Noel Leeming's purportedly have them for $137 and $207, but only for in-store sales, and none seem to be available in Wellington.

Noel Leeming are selling them for $140, in store only, one per person. I haven't seen them online yet.

Given the reviews i'm not as keen to get one any more. If I see one online I might grab it though, just to run android on and keep in my lounge.
