asmcar: Have any of you that already have the touchpads found that they pick up finger prints easily on their screen? Going from what reviews have said they do, has anyone found it necessary to look at getting a screen protector for it to try and alleviate the issue? I already have the HP case which should keep the back relatively fingerprint free for much of the time.

Now all I need is the actual Tablet :/

I still haven't taken the plastic wrap off my touchpad lol but I'm goin to buy a iPad screen protector and cut to the correct size

I bought a touchpad protector last night on eBay for $3.88 NZD shipping included from Hong Kong. Not sure what the quality will be like but hopefully it's not too bad. Already have the case so not planning on covering the back with any extra protection. There are some nice full body protectors out there but the shipping from the states makes them a little too pricey for what they are.

Can see paid apps, but KalemSoft Media Player is not one of them (yet?)

Two questions: Why UK? (I did read that you reverted back to NZ, but just wondering why you choose UK of US).

Where is the Kindle app? I can't seem to find it on the HP app store... (my settings are NZ)

These were for US customers only, and even then they had a limited amount, which went in about an hour IIRC. Word is that we will get our chance too

I just installed Tapnote Lite and linked it to my DropBox, I wrote a short test file and upon saving the DropBox alert popped up on my laptop saying that a new .txt file had been added :)

I set up my Touchpad with the UK App Catalog so just need to get my hand on a UK credit card and I can buy the full app for 5Pound.

The Touchpad already comes with a basic note pad app, I used this yesterday at a presentation while simultaneously using the voice recorder :)

Placed an order through them on Friday, with the site showing it was in stock. Cancelled the order today after finding out it's on backorder and it may take about a week before I get my hands on it.

Ordered from eBay instead. Same price, all included.

Warranty? Looks like mobicity have a NZ warranty provider, and on the information page it says tablets provided from them have a 12 month warranty. I don't mind waiting a week for a retailer who I can contact with a NZ phone number (based in Australia).
