Note that my comments about the experience is in now way related to the Nokia Lumia itself. I have the Nokia Lumia 800 and still think it's the best smartphone out there.

My comments are pointing towards Microsoft.

I managed to trick my phone in to updating again...twice.
My phone is reporting "Firmware Rev. Numb: 1750.0805.8773.12220"

I also seem to have internet sharing.
EDIT: Still not sure if this is the latest version.

It looks newer than mine. Is this a Telecom version?

No idea, its a parallel Taiwanese import.  Using 2degrees.  Planning on trying a Telecom SIM tomorrow to see if its on the right band.

I'm thinking updating the legit way means you only have features available to you in your region. Forcing it my negate that particular rule and give you the who update?

That's my theory anyway.

No, it doesn't work this way.

Could those of you that just recieved the update post your firmware versions? I'm curious to see if they are the same compared with other members.

Very odd...might have to try for another update. If 2070 is the norm.

Probably good idea to mention your phone model as well as how you upgraded as well.
