Cheers for the heads up! My Lumia 925 freezes occasionally  so hopefully this helps.

when I woke up at 5AM this morning my phone had already downloaded it and was prompting me to restart to start installing it :)

Seems a bit more stable - fewer app crashes.

Is there an easy way to just play music that is on my phone - not have to go through my entire music collection (including stuff that is only available to stream)?

updated music app, video app, firmware for some handsets, etc, will come.  remember this is the developer preview still and only updates the base windows phone OS.  refer joe belfiore's tweet from way back

This page is tracking the telco push update of Windows Phone 8.1 per device and per country:

http://forums.wpcentral.com/windows-phone-8-1/293096-5.htm

Aside: we have a Nokia 520 on dev preview, and the update on Friday was to 8.10.12397.895 which I presume is the final release version?! Seems to work fine (although we only use the phone very lightly for IE11 mobile browser compatibility testing, so I shouldn't really say that!).

My Lumia 925 received the update this morning. Brought mine from a parallel importer, looks like the phone is from Hong Kong.

Unfortunately during update I got a Bitlocker Recover error and had to recover my phone using the Nokia recovery tool. If anyone else has this issue see here - http://discussions.nokia.com/t5/Nokia-Lumia/Nokia-update-and-925-stuck-in-bitlocker-blue-screen/td-p/2816288

hi all, need some advice. After successfully updating my 2degrees Samsung ATIV S to WP8.1 (12397.895) everything seems ok except for quite significant battery drain. Battery Saver estimated only 13 hours of use when fully charged, but only lasts maybe 4 hours at the most.

I am considering doing a hard reset (haven't done one ever) to see if this resolves the issue but am a little hesitant due to some reports (WP Central) that it could cause more problems than it fixes. Some have talked about loss of cellular data settings, continuous loops, etc.

Has anyone with a Samsung ATIV S using EP8.1 DP done a hard reset and if so how did it go for you? Anyone else experiencing battery drain on their ATIV's with 8.1?

I sincerely appreciate any and all advice anyone can offer. Thanks in advance...
