Having 3G would make the Touchpad a killer...RDP on the road, anywhere? Priceless.

Finally got around to purchasing KalemSoft Media Player today. It was supposed to come to the NZ/Aus App Stores, but no sign of it yet, so I just purchased via their website, as I already have the demo installed.

Now hopefully we see the September Pivot soon...

If you've got a rooted Android phone then you can tether the touchpad to it via wifi apparently as long as you have the right version of the wifi sharing app.

That RDP app still relies on having a particular server-side app installed. Would be nice to have a 'genuine' RDP app.

IIRC it limits you to a 1024x768 resolution though which is a bit of a nuisance. Has this been changed?

Good idea - but have a Sony Erricsson X10 Mini Pro with Android 2.1 on it, struggling to find the right root for it.
Barnacle WiFi Tether seems like the best app but yeah needs root access

have any other touchpad users managed to set up google talk to work yet? Mine doesn't sign in and the only answer I can seem to google is a router issue?
