GregV: That RDP app still relies on having a particular server-side app installed. Would be nice to have a 'genuine' RDP app.

If you've got a rooted Android phone then you can tether the touchpad to it via wifi apparently as long as you have the right version of the wifi sharing app.

Good idea - but have a Sony Erricsson X10 Mini Pro with Android 2.1 on it, struggling to find the right root for it.
Barnacle WiFi Tether seems like the best app but yeah needs root access
