Actually, just tried this myself. Deleted the last image out of an album, and it prompted me that my album was empty, and did I want to delete it?

Chose Delete, and it asked for confirmation. Confirmed, and my album is now gone from Libraries and Albums.

Darn. :) I've even tried recreating the album using Internalz, and putting some images in there even, still can't get the thing gone. Will have another go tonight.

apparently people in the US are receiving either a free 1yr accidental damage warranty or an official case. i wonder what HP nz will offer us, seeing as they have no stock for replacements.

Well I bought the official case with the TP, so that is not much use to me.

ekud: Just checked we now have access to paid apps!!

Reverting my Touchpad back to NZ :)

so no need to set the touchpad region to US?

I suspect there will still be some things that are US only, but I'm now using my NZ profile and I can view and purchase a wide range of applications

how did you do that?  did you just create another hp webos profile?  when i got my touchpad, i set it to US, i didn't know that you will need a US credit card as well.  i want to revert back to Nz but it states there that you can not change your country settings once registered.

OMG i have just had the worse customer service phone call I have ever had,

ok clearly this Rep was based overseas, but damm!

Right so long story short she has apparently arranged an HP tech to come to my house within the next 7 days to check the device, now this sounds like bollicks to me!! Anyone have a contact at HP? I actually don't believe that a person will be coming to my house esp when she took 45mins to attempt to get my address

Stink! How bad is it? Is it merely a cosmetic issue, or is it one that will possibly affect functionality further down the track? Also, could further damage be mitigated by the liberal use of a suitable adhesive?

In the US anyway they said gluing it will void the warranty

Mines minor, enough for my OCD to see it, I cant see it spreading or causing any damage that will affect the functionality of the device, However a crack is a crack!

I wont be gluing it as i dont see a point, HP NZ called me back today! THANK GOD! She wanted to a coruier to pick my touchpad up today and then they would send me a replacement, I advised of troubles with call center last night and she is goin to call me back on monday to discuss everything further!

Phew! Lucky I'm not OCD then... Oh wait... Damn! :-)

Hope it all works out well with your replacement. I'd also be dead keen to see how many others suffer the same fate. The thought of a cheap TouchPad is not as attractive if a hardware design flaw has compromised the structural integrity.
