Is there any add-on for Pocket IE or Opera 8 Mobile or other which would make it possible to view MPEG4 webcam images over HTTP on i-mate SP3?

Not for PIE or Opera... But have you tried an independent player, such as The Core Pocket Media Player?

No haven't tried an independent player - thanks for the pointer; webcam page has control buttons so not sure how an independent player would react to those.

Have just absorbed that webcam also has "snapshot" mode. Controllable from Smartphone/Opera & snapshots are successfully displayed by Smartphone/Opera.
