Hi folks,

Is anyone using SBSH Facade with their WM5? I have it installed on my iMate SP5 and it's been great so far. This morning I got an email saying a new version (1.2) is available for upgrade. According to the instructions I could just run the new installer and it would take care of uninstalling/upgrading the older version.

Well, it turned to custard! The installer complained that it couldn't uninstall the older version. Now I can't find SBSH Facade in the Setup > Remove Programs menu listing either! The old version no longer runs properly now - the tab texts don't show.

Has anyone encountered this sort of thing before? Any ideas what else I can do to help sort this out?

Cheers,
D.

Windows Mobile 5 is a problem when it comes to updates - mainly on Smartphones. Have you tried powering the device off/on and installing again?  Make sure there's no files left behind before you start installing the new version.
