Hi....i seem to have a really bizzare and stupid problem with my nokia 6600. The keypad has locked it's self in to numeric mode, i can't toggle to ABC mode?.

When i go to a text message only numbers come up, same with going into the phone book and trying to seach for a name starting with the key letter.

I have tried to go to Tools, Settings, Phone. When i try to go into General to restore to factory settings, it wont let me in displaying AP. CLOSED GS!.

This is very weird and frustrating!.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this thing...please hook a brutha up with some info.

Is the message only "AP Close GS" or does it have something else, a number or "Exec failed"?

Strange but... Have you tried turning the phone off and removing the battery, wait a minute and insert it again?

It's actually "App. closed gs!" but there is nothing else displayed?. I have tried keying in the code *#7780# which restores to factory settings but the same problem is still there.

It's got me stumped!??
