The original 7000 series BB devices have 2 cursor keys to allow the user to move through a message that they have composed and then edit as appropriate.

I am unable to see equivalent keys on the newer 8707v model. If you type and make an error it seems that the user has to delete all text back to the error and then re-type their message.

Obviously they should be careful when typing but sometimes you might want to change the context  of a sentence etc.
Vodpfone say that there are no cursor type keys. Has anyone been able to find a way to scroll through text to enable editing?

Any help would be most appreciated.
