My sister has a Lumia 710 on XT. She used to be able to send pxt's but over the last few days has been unable to.  She tries to send one and a few moments later she get a message saying unable to send try again.

Any ideas?

Did she insert a different SIM card on her handset? Have you tried using the Network Setup tool to manually enter the Telecom APN and MMS settings?

Once you have done that, send a message to her own phone to see if it's sending/receiving.

Have asked the question.  She is remote from my location so doing all this by remote control.  Have sent a Pic to see what happens.

How hard is it to explain how to go in and check/set network settings?  What should they be, are they the same for any type of phone, i.e. can I give the settings off my E7?

First of all, make sure Data Connection is ON - Settings | Mobile Network. If Data Connection is OFF then MMS won't work.

If Data Connection is ON, then open Network Setup app after installing. It should automatically load the Telecom settings and all should work without her having to enter anything.

The network set up app you mention, does that need to be installed or is it already on the phone?

You have to download it from Marketplace, under the Nokia Apps.

Thanks Mauricio,

Installing and running the Network Setup app did the trick.  Still not sure why she ended up having to do this as she hasn't changed sims.  Obviously the setup got corrupted some how.

Thanks for the help. Smile
