Just got new k8001. Tried to set up connection. Connection seemed to work but no data flow. Any ideas.

Many questions arise, with such sucint description.

Is your account enabled to use data services?
Are you using the correct procedure to connect (via Bluetooth or infrared)?
Are you using the correct APN?
Are you using the correct number to dial?

It would help a lot if you could tell us what you have done before otherwise there is no way anyone can help.

Sorry - didn't mean to be so brief. Ipaq running PocketPC 2003. Bluetooth update installed. Phone and ipaw have paired successfully. Connection is definitely made and icon on phone indicates that GPRS connection is live. When I check in Bluetooth connection manager (which is green and says connected) the data indicators show no movement in either direction.  Does this help?

Ok... First I recommend you download VxUtil (www.cam.com) and use it to PING some known servers by name and IP address. This will prove if you have connectivity or not.

If yes, then you should be able to use the Pocket Internet Explorer, etc. If not then it could be some configuration problem - most likely the APN being used, since you say the connection is still up...
