I have a Acer n311 PPC.  Bought it in April 2006.  Running Windows Mobile 5 and had Pocket MSN bundled with it when I purchased it in April.  Up until recently, i was had no problems login into Pocket MSN via Wifi.  Up until a week ago, I've been getting the same error message that all the folks had in NOV 2005 on the Windows Mobile 5 MSN Messenger thread.

I'm just wondering if you guys have managed to solve the problem.  All my other online features including Skype have no problems accessing the internet.  just pocket MSN.  I've read all the threads and I've tried all the following:-

Changed the Regional Settings from UK to USA/Australia/whatever and back + the soft reset.  Result = still a no go
I've copied and paste the icon creating a short cut somewhere else.  Result = still a no go
I have a MSN passport (my own email) Result = still a no go
I have a Hotmail account. Result = still a no go
Logging into my MSN passport and hotmail account via pc on the same ISP via wifi.  Result = no problem

Its all very strange to me as I've been able to use without any problems up until recently.  Would really appreciate any solutions / suggestions you could provide.

Cheers

It could be a temporary problem with their servers - it happened last month. I suggest you check the Clock to see if the Pocket PC is in the correct time zone, and that the time is correct.

Thanks for the reply. The clock settings and the time zone seem to be set properly.  Still unable to connect.
