Hi, I am trying to establish a direct PC-PDA wifi network.

I am in the phase when both pda and pc indicate that the adhoc pc2pc connection is established, but I have no idea how to access files on PDA from PC and vice versa. When I open "My network places" on PC, I can not see my PDA there. (And I do not even know where to look for something like "My network places" on PDA.)

You can't see the files on your Pocket PC from your computer because the Windows Mobile OS is a client only. But you can see the files on your computer from your Pocket PC, and even browse the network for other computers and shares if you use a software such as Resco Explorer.

OK - I gave up this idea.

I installed Resco Explorer, but it did not help. I am wi-fi connected, either adhoc (pda-pc) or to network (pda-router), I can even successfully ping the IP, but there is nothing in My Network or Computers Near Me.

(Both firewall and antivir are disabled)

Any other advice?

Check that your shared folders are visible (don't end with $). If they do end with a $ sign then you will have to manually add them, and enter a username and password.
