Hello,
I have 6600 and I get Application closed MsvServer error message when I try to disconnect with my mailbox.I always download programs and the other things via e-mail and for a few days I can not delete the e-mail messages and there are two normal Sms message in drafts folder I couldn't even delete it.
the programs that I downloaded via e-mail:
handy file
ringtone studio
smsreminder
worldclock

imagespy

I think world clock made it in that way after that I uninstall that program but it doesnt work anyway.
I was saving my e-mail messages to multimediacard do you think should I format my multimedia card?ın another topic moderater wrote that if you take the mmc out try to run the phone and then put mmc back.I did it but it didn't resolve the problem.
Thanks.

Another thread with the exactly same message was posted a couple of days ago. My suggestion was to turn off the mobile phone, remove the memory card, remove the battery, reinsert the battery and memory card and restart the phone.

Look here for more information.

HI GUYS I HAVE GOOD NEWS FOR YOU. IF YOU EXPERINCE THE MSVSERVER PROBLEM AND YOU CANNOT ACCESS THE MENU THEN JUST FORMAT THE PHONE. FOLLOW THESE RULES:

The reset code for Series 60 phones is *#7370# (entered as you'd enter a phone number). All data will be lost if you use this feature.

We've also seen this procedure documented online, but have yet to try it:

Switch off the phone.
Hold down the following three buttons: Green(call answer) button, *+ button, and 'def 3' button
While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the 6600
When the message 'Formatting' appears on the screen, release the buttons
Note that you shouldn't switch the phone off or remove the battery when performing either of these operations, and it's advised that the handset has a reasonable amount of battery charge before performing a format/reset. We accept no responsibility for use of this code. It is undocumented, not supported by Nokia and should be used at your own risk.
