I know this may seem stupid but two programs i de-installed left icons behind. I can for the life of me not find out how I can delete them.. Any help for this blind fool would be great

You can open the File Explorer and browse to \Windows\Start Menu to find the programs on your start menu or to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs for the icons showing in the Programs list.
