Hi all

I have just got an ACER n50

I have bought a 4gb sd card for it but its not working, no details showing up on the device list.

Can anyone help or is it because its too big?

thanks

Welcome to Geekzone... It should work up to 4GB, but check that this card is formatted with FAT. Also sometimes the large cards use some strange technology and they don't go well with some devices - I've seen this with some mobile phones but it could happen with Pocket PCs.

Probably needs to be formatted with FAT32 rather than FAT16 to reach 4GB. It doesn't look like you can format memory cards with NTFS, not in XP at least, but I could be wrong there.
