Hi there I bought a sdio gps receiver for my ipaq 1930 on trademe... not really wanting it ;)

but anyway I was wondering if any one new of some good "free" software and maps for NZ and OZY.
I've found a few but they are all pretty pricey.

This this the device.. http://www.pretec.com/epages/Store.storefront/?ObjectPath=/Shops/Store.Pretec/Products/OW-GPSXX-A

Any help or tips much appreciated.

Cheers JP.

You can check some of our older GPS reviews, since they have links to some free GPS software deep there... But free GPS software usually means you have to convert and load your own maps, and no navigation instructions.
