Hi all,

I am new to Windows Phone 8, but have used Android for many years.

I added a Google account to my Windows phone to get my contacts etc, whice appear fine. BUT, when I recieve a call or text from someone (even those in my contacts) they appear as a new number because the number has the +64 prefix, and my stored contacts all DON'T have the +64 prefix.

Is there a way to fix this??

Thanks in advance!

Donald.

I had this too with some of my Facebook contacts. I manually edited the phone number with +64 or whatever country code they were calling from. Took few minutes but now it's organised like that and I save all new numbers with +64 or whatever country code to the phone.

Do whatever you want to do man.
